I'm Becky B., the breeder behind The BARK PAD located in Columbia County, PA. I produce pups that have the ability to excel in their chosen field, whether that be hunting, or as an active companion. I have high expectations for my puppies and make sure to place each one with an enriching and loving family complementary to their personality and ability!
Q. & A. with Becky
Why did you start breeding?
German Shorthaired Pointers are an incredible breed, and I decided to start my breeding program in order to preserve the wonderful qualities I found in my dogs. They excel both in their work and as companions. I am dedicated to improving my lines with each generation so that the breed will continue to thrive for a long time to come.
What makes your program special?
I focus on breeding dogs that have enough working drive to keep up with my lifestyle, but also have amazing temperaments and can quickly adapt to a calm family setting. I am confident that each one will become a treasured family member!
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in a kennel on my property.
