I'm Dalton H., the breeder behind The Kennels at Crimson Hills located in Conway, AR. We strive for healthy, and confident puppies with extensive socialization, and game interaction prior to rehoming. We focus on owners who will use them as sporting dogs. We follow all applicable rules set forth by AKC, GSPCA, and State and Federal Regulations.
Q. & A. with Dalton
Why did you start breeding?
As much as everyone loves puppy breath, and nips, I understood that proper care, and attention to immersion results in much more confident gun dogs.
I understand the purpose of having a sporting dog is just that, the sport. and every effort I make during my time with the puppies results in a better companion in the sport.
What makes your program special?
We focus on the puppy being exposed to all things that they may come across being a sporting dog. We adopt the DOD Super Puppy training as early as the first week, and continue to game introductions prior to them going home. We understand that Sporting Dogs are more than game companions, they are family, and we work with them as such, being exposed to small children, and cats before going home.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include liver and liver and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

About Duchess
Duchess is a hard working eager to please Liver Roan Patched and Ticked German shorthaired Pointer. Although she is a hard working dog, she is eager to please from a retrieve to loading up. She is a highly food driven dog who could find a dropped crumb just as fast as a downed bird in heavy cover. In a hunting scene, she has no quit, working until she is forced to kennel. She has currently had her second litter, and is just as compassionate a mother as she is diligent as a hunter.
