Meet the breeder

I'm Candice S., the breeder behind The Shire Windsprites located in Huntsville, AL. My goal is to produce physically and behaviorally sound Windsprites. As a professional trainer, I understand the importance of giving puppies the best, positive start in life. I focus on versatile companions-dogs who are up for anything but are most importantly an easy-to-live-with family companion.

Q. & A. with Candice

  • What makes your program special?

At this time, I do not maintain a formal waitlist. However, if you’d like to stay in the loop as plans develop, I’d be happy to add you to my email notification list. I do not place puppies on a first-come, first-served basis nor do I breed or place puppies based on color—instead, matches are made thoughtfully based on temperament, lifestyle, and overall compatibility with each individual puppy.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
