🎉Happy Birthday to Maverick — our calm, steady, and quietly confident alpha. He is the presence that anchors our home, the one who never needs to demand attention because his character speaks for itself. Maverick leads the way he lives — composed, self-assured, and effortlessly respected. The tone of our pack, the heartbeat of this house. But his story runs deeper than today. Maverick carries forward a legacy that began with his extraordinary half brother, Tex — a dog who shaped so much of our journey and whose influence still echoes through everything we do. In Maverick, we see that same soul, that same quiet strength, that same unmistakable spark. Through his exceptional offspring and the example he sets every day, Maverick honors that legacy in the most beautiful way. More than a stud. More than an alpha. He is part of our story, our history, and our heart. Happy Birthday to a truly special boy! 🤍🐾

About Nelli
TTR’s Priceless Southern Bellefire, call name Nelli, is the perfect blend of grace, grit, and undeniable Southern charm. A daughter of our foundational pair Charlie and Maverick, she carries forward everything we love about our program: intelligence, biddability, athletic ability, and a heart as big as Texas. With her people, Nelli is the definition of a VELCRO dog — loyal, devoted, and happiest when she’s close by. She’s sassy in the best way, playful, energetic, and always ready for adventure… yet she also has the sweetest cuddle-bug side. One of her favorite things is greeting her family with whatever toy she treasures most that day, proudly trotting over as if to say, “Look what I brought you!” In the field, Nelli is confident and focused with the natural grace GSPs are known for. She’s also a strong, enthusiastic swimmer, eager to dive in. At home, she melts into her family — soft, affectionate, and incredibly bonded to her people. Since she was just a pup, Nelli has continued to shine in both temperament and structure, and we are so proud to have her helping carry forward the Tipsy Rabbit legacy for generations to come.

About Goose
Meet Goose—the fastest wiggle butt this side of the Rio Grande and a total natural in the field, on the dock, and in our hearts. Originally named Payback from our TopDog litter, Goose was destined to stay with us from the start. A late bloomer as a pup, Goose quickly caught up and never looked back. He’s a striking blend of his lineage: Maverick’s tall, athletic build, Charlie’s sharp nose and love of water, and the unmatched drive of his Uncle Tex. Whether he’s tracking scent, retrieving at full speed, or launching off a dock, every move is full of purpose and intensity. Goose is a proud member of North America Diving Dogs (NADD) and earned his Dock Master title at his very first competition. Off-season, we’re focused on building his confidence, refining his dock work, and increasing his distance—this boy was made to soar. Off-leash, he’s incredibly attentive and responsive, always eager to please. Goose is not just a competitor—he’s a true athlete and versatile hunter, as joyful and goofy as he is driven and focused. He’s cleared all of his OFA health testing and has been issued a CHIC number, reflecting our commitment to health, structure, and sound genetics. Whether he’s chasing birds or curled up for a snuggle, Goose brings endless enthusiasm, loyalty, and love to our pack—and we wouldn’t have it any other way. AKC DNA V40006067+H OFA CHIC 207861

About Valentine
Meet Valentine, or as we lovingly call her, Valley—the vibrant young adult of our pack. Hailing from Alvarado Farm’s Kennel in San Antonio, Texas, Valley carries Heritage bloodlines from both her dam and sire, promising a power house in the field with a muscular frame, natural retrieval instincts, and the endless endurance that makes the GSP breed legendary. This raven beauty is as charming as she is spirited—and if you're not careful, she’ll steal your heart…and your snack! While still young and finding her place in the pack, she has already shown a confident yet respectful nature, knowing when to assert herself and when to step back. Valley is highly communicative, making sure we know when dinnertime is approaching or when there’s a squirrel in her yard that must be chased. She’s also quite the little lap dog, politely asking for attention with a paw and sprawling across as many laps as possible during TV time. At night, she’s the first to burrow under the covers, claiming her cozy spot for bedtime. Valley is already showing a strong love for water, always the first to splash in a puddle or roll in the mud. We can’t wait to introduce her to swimming once the weather warms up and start her on dock diving—something we suspect she’ll take to naturally. Off-leash, she stays within eyesight and is quick to respond to recall, demonstrating early obedience and attentiveness. When she runs and plays with the other dogs, she leaps like a gazelle and pounces like a kitten, moving with a natural grace that’s captivating to watch. She is quickly finding her stride and can nearly keep up with the boys, making it clear that she’ll be a powerhouse in the field. When it comes to retrieving, her competitive drive grows stronger each day, proving that she’s just as determined as she is athletic. Valley is currently working toward earning her AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title, an important step in responsible dog ownership and a testament to her intelligence and trainability. We’ve also enrolled her in conformation training, so stay tuned to watch this stunning girl grow into her potential. This girl is a rising star in the TTR family, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for her!

About Charlie
Charlie is a true South Dakota Duchess, hailing from Missouri River Kennels, deep in the heart of South Dakota’s pheasant country. With an unwavering prey drive and keen instincts, she is a natural-born hunter, excelling in trailing blood, locating birds, and recovering game. Whether in the field or in the water, she is fearless, determined, and relentless in her pursuit. As a flushing dog, Charlie is second to none—she locates game birds with precision and has an impressive soft mouth, ensuring a clean retrieve. Her adept swimming skills make her just as powerful in the water as she is on land, she’s a natural retriever both in and out of the water.. When she’s not working, Charlie has a BIG Texas-sized personality—she’s wonderfully talkative, and her endearingly sweet eyes captures the hearts of everyone she meets. At home, Charlie takes on the role of peacekeeper, using her maternal instincts to protect, nurture, and diffuse conflicts within the pack. But don’t let her gentle side fool you—she has a competitive spirit a country mile wide, especially when it comes to retrieving! Whether she’s in the field or training in dock diving alongside her son, Goose, she gives it her all. Charlie also has an endearing habit of collecting "treasures"—if you’re missing a shoe or sock, check with Charlie! She’s just as likely to bring in stray leaves from outside or, on occasion, a small critter. But at the end of the day, she’s a true cuddle bug, happiest when she’s curled up on your lap or tucked under the covers for the night. More than just an exceptional hunting dog and devoted companion, Charlie is an incredible mother, bridging the past and present as she carries on the legacy of our treasured boys, Tex & Maverick. While he enjoys the water, his true brilliance shines on land, where his keen nose and sharp instincts make him a standout. Beyond his working abilities, Maverick is the steadfast guardian of our home, balancing quiet confidence with a goofy charm that keeps us smiling. A true Velcro dog, he’s fiercely loyal to his family, with an unmistakable presence that commands respect. Working with Becky from The Tipsy Rabbit GSP TopDog Kennel was an amazing experience! From the start, she was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, making sure I was prepared for Gracie’s arrival. The process was seamless, and Becky was so responsive to any questions I had. Gracie is a wonderful puppy, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. I highly recommend Becky and her kennel to anyone looking for a loving and well-cared-for puppy

My Son and I initially went to pick up Bodie. Upon arrival we were greeted by a litter and parents of absolutely gorgeous GSP’s. I could not resist the temptation of the cutest Female and we left with two GSP’s. Freyja Gin and Bodie are now happily engaged in our family. These are the most well behaved and intelligent pups I have ever had the pleasure of establishing a relationship with. It is evident that Becky truly cares properly for these lovely canines. We were provided thorough instructions, basic commands they are trained to, the established feeding schedule, veterinary requirements as well as what to expect with the raising of these lovely animals. Becky has kept in touch with us to ensure our questions are answered and the pups are acclimating well. We could not be any happier with the selection of Top Dog Kennel and their lovely stock of GSP’s.

Becky was very helpful throughout the whole process. My wife and I had decided it was time for us to get our first fur baby and I went searching for the right one for us and that’s when I stumbled upon Goose. Goose was perfect in every way and had an interesting back story to come with him. He was originally adopted by another family, but due to circumstances outside of Goose’s control he came back to Becky and I was fortunate enough to find him. The whole process from reaching out about him to going through all the steps leading up to pick up was so exciting and nerve wrecking at the same time. We wanted everything perfect for our Goose and to give him the second chance he so deeply deserved. From the moment he came home with us we knew we made the best choice ever. Goose is so smart, loving, cuddly, and energetic! He brings so much joy to our lives and keeps us on our toes. I will definitely be looking forward to future adventures and possibly getting Goose another companion through Becky as she has made this process so smooth and easy. You can tell right off the bat these dogs are loved and cared for from the minute they are born and even in their new homes. She is checking in on us and goose for updates every so often, and it feels good knowing how genuine she is about us. Would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dog!

Becky has been better than you could even imagine throughout this experience. It’s obvious she puts 110% into this. Becky has been responsive to me the entire time, even 3 months after taking my pup home. I’ll definitely be keeping in touch. I took my pup to the vet at the 3 month mark for more boosters & my veterinarian said “He has perfect genetics!” I love my dog so much!!!
