I'm Tammy C., the breeder behind TJs Chihuahuas located in Bloomington, IN. I strive to breed nice quality chihuahuas from champion bloodlines Many of my puppies have become nice show dogs, great family dogs and lifelong friends. I enjoy competing in conformation shows, and spending time with them doing a variety of other activities! im proud of their accomplishments.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Back when I first wanted a show dog I reached out to long time breeder and judge Max Hurd and that was where I began

  • What makes your program special?

    My first priority is temperament then comes health and structure.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Tammy

Tammy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Tammy partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $4,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
