I'm Jessica H., the breeder behind TJ’s High Country Kennel located in Pasco, WA. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament with a focus on conformation, athleticism and intelligence. We are dedicated to providing our families with wonderful, healthy family pets.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Todd and Jessica have been raised to love animals. From the rivers to the fields and from the farm to the top of the mountains, we always have our dogs with us.

  • What makes your program special?

    These puppies have started training already, including gun conditioning, nail grooming desensitization, house training, and wing on a string. Our pups also receive daily outside play as well as play with our two young children.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are liver and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jessica

Jessica has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Jessica partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

“We take great care in placing each puppy with the right family. Puppies are matched once they're old enough for us to evaluate their temperaments and personalities — typically around 7-8 weeks.”

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $1,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“This price includes puppy vaccinations, deworming, early socialization, start of potty training. This price does not include any cost of transportation. All puppies are the same price regardless of male/female. Your deposit ensures you a spot in pick of litter.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
