I'm Debbie F., the breeder behind Toyville Chihuahuas located in Merced, CA. We breed to the standards set forth by the AKC and abide by the ethics set forth by both the Chihuahua Club of America and the Chihuahua Club of Northern California. We breed for health, temperament, type, and soundness, striving to produce the very best puppies possible, in or out of the show ring. Our dogs are health tested for patellas, cardiac and vision.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We fell in love with the breed back in the late 80's. Our love eventually evolved into showing and breeding. We have produced an AKC Best in Show Bred By Exhibitor dog which was one of our happiest and proudest moments in showing dogs.

  • What makes your program special?

    We raise dogs that shine both in and out of the ring. Our dogs are all well socialized and up to date on all vaccines and wormings. All of our puppies are AKC registered and we strive to produce the best puppies possible by breeding for excellent health and sound temperaments. We are happy to help with any questions regarding chihuahuas, anytime!

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black, chocolate, red, fawn brindled black, red and white, cream and white, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
