I'm Jenifer R., the breeder behind Travelin' Man Terriers located in Claremore, OK. I'm a preservation breeder striving to improve upon the unique qualities that the Teddy Roosevelt Terrier has to offer. I breed with a focus on health, genetics, structure, and temperament. My puppies are lovingly hand-raised by me, and I take great care with each breeding to ensure I am producing puppies that are excellent representations of their standard.

Why did you start breeding?
It was difficult making the decision to become a breeder, coming from my background in rescue and volunteer work - I do not take this job lightly. I support responsible preservation breeding practices because it is a passion of mine to better the breed and ensure its future for generations to come.What makes your program special?
I only show and breed Teddy Roosevelt Terriers, and every dog we have is our loved pet. No dog is bred unless it is healthy, genetically tested and is a great example of the breed standard. Holding myself to high standards is paramount to the well-being of my dogs and to the integrity of my program.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Jenifer has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $100 deposit and between $650 - $975 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“This price includes AKC and UKC litter registration, first vaccination, deworming and puppy socialization. Pet quality puppies are offered with no breeding rights. Breed/Show rights must be discussed. A $100 deposit is required to be added to my waitlist. The deposit is not refundable, but it can be transferred to the next litter if you do not choose a puppy from the current litter.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Letty is our beautiful, funny, quirky girl. She is a "certified" snuggler and blanket stealer, who also happens to be a UKC show champion with an AKC Fast CAT title. She is health tested with an Embark panel test and is clear of PLL, CDDY/IVDD, and PRA-PRCD. We are currently looking for the best male to pair her with for her final litter. Our hope is to have at least one excellent quality puppy that we can take into the show ring in the future.

Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Primary Lens Luxation (PLL), Chondrodystrophy (CDDY and IVDD Risk) with or without Chondrodysplasia (CDPA), Full Embark Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
