We are a simple, family-run breeding program offering loving and loyal companions to others. We focus on quality care and health with each litter we raise.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I got my first long haired chihuahua when I was 16 years old and knew right then that I wanted to bring as much happiness and love into other peoples lives as he did in mine. Ever since then, I have done extensive research and learned as much as possible about this beautiful breed and at the age of 33 I was finally able to make my dreams come true.

  • What makes your program special?

    This is my passion. I strive to create healthy, beautiful, well tempered chihuahuas that will bring as much joy into other peoples lives as my chihuahuas do in mine.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have long coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include white, blue merle, silver and white, black and tan, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Trenda

Price

Puppy prices include between $2,800 - $6,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, Guarantee, Limited AKC registration application. Deposits are $1,500.00-$3,000.00. The higher the total price of the puppy, the higher the deposit amount.”

Contract & health guarantee

Trenda may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
