Meet the breeder

I'm Bobby W., the breeder behind Two Rivers Kennels - Wirehaired Pointing Griffons located in Billings, MT. We are a family run kennel that hunts over our dogs, they do everything from, pointing, retrieving, and tracking wounded game. We love our dogs and they are treated like family. We were blessed to learn about this breed and their ability to work in the field at such an extremely high level yet being a welcome pet/member of the family in the house. The desire to please that these dogs display is incredible. We prefer to place our pups in the homes of hunting families as these dogs are truly at home in the field, but will also sell to active families or individuals who are adamant about making their pup a member of the family. God bless, The Westbrook Family.

Q. & A. with Bobby

  • Why did you start breeding?

Breeding for us was a byproduct of having great dogs. We only breed 1 litter a year and that isn’t guaranteed. We started studying Griffon Lines 8 years ago and started talking with some of the current quality breeders. Once we got the dogs we wanted and the health test that were recommended at the time, we had our first litter in 2017 and have produced quality puppies since then.
  • What makes your program special?

When you breed quality dogs you get quality offspring. That’s the bottom line.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are brown and gray. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
