I'm Jesika V., the breeder behind Urmah Kennel located in Auburn, KS. We offer quality bred working dogs. We hand raise each of our puppies to ensure a reliable temperament & cherished companionship. I breed healthy, beautiful puppies. I take my job seriously, knowing that my puppies will become someone's well-loved pet. Each puppy is considered a member of my family and I ensure they are socialized, healthy, and prepared to excel in their forever homes. My dogs are bred for those specifics and I take pride in my breeding program.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I needed a guardian dog companion for my Pyrenees mix dog to assist with the predator load on my homestead. I realized the power, durability, and strength of the Turkish Boz were more supreme than those of my other guardian dog. After testing my female as a breeding dog, I decided to import another one, and that started my breeding program. I have since added more imported dogs to my program.

  • What makes your program special?

    I truly love the Turkish Boz Shepherd breed and am dedicated to protecting it as a whole. I track pedigrees and genetically test my dog to ensure I am not pairing two dogs that shouldn't be breeding together. I can provide extensive knowledge and guidance for any family looking to adopt one of these wonderful dogs. It is important to me that the dog and the new owners are a good fit.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jesika

Jesika has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Jesika partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

Price

Puppy prices include a $1,000 non-refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $6,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The depends on the rights you want to purchase. The puppies leave with a vet check report, microchip, vaccination(s), and start of a deworming schedule. The price depends on the litter. $1,000 applied to the total cost of the dog. Is transferable in some cases.”

Jesika may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation
