



I'm Lynne E., the breeder behind Uwharrie located in Troy, NC. I have been in the breed for over 35 years. I am a lifetime member of the IGCA. I health test including recommended DNA testing. I require dogs to be returned to me if their owner is no longer able to keep them. Puppies are not allowed to leave before they are at least 10-12 weeks old.

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
PRA (PRA1), Italian Greyhound Type, Familial Enamel Hypoplasia (FEH), Italian Greyhound Type, Primary Open Angle Glaucoma (ADAMST10 Exon 17)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
