I'm Kelli V., the breeder behind Vista Real Russells located in Nuevo, CA. We breed for health, temperament, and conformation suitable for a working Terrier. We feel the breed will be lost without the attitude and the conformation to be able to do what it was originally created to do. Our dogs have the intelligence and temperament to make excellent pets with active families.
Q. & A. with Kelli
Why did you start breeding?
To be honest a friend told me I should breed my female to sell the puppies. After having my first litter, I realized I knew nothing about this, so I began to study. A whole new world opened up to me as I realized the responsibility I had bringing more dogs into the world. I found a breed club and my knowledge expanded from there. I still have much to learn.
What makes your program special?
I have years of health tested dogs. I try to breed dogs that are able to do what the breed was originally created to do. I guarantee health and temperament on my puppies.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
