Russell has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Russell partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.
“I send videos every one or two weeks for people to watch the puppies develop. Selection is based on order of deposit received. Puppies are assigned at seven weeks with the occasional exception. I will use the criteria you give me, to help match you with the right pup as much as I possibly can at this age. ”

“Pricing depends on the litter and if it is a setter or a DK. Nonrefundable, for gender & breeding, not color. Deposit can be moved to future litter in certain situations. Refunds up to the breeder. Selections made at 7 wks old based on order of deposit rec'd.”
Russell may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. About Emma
Emma vom Bosque River 1086/23 - D2, S3, Fw: G, HDA2, OCD-Frei Grand Dam: Arielle von Feuer-Haus 0617/19 - D1, AZP3, HDA2, HN, Fw: SG Grand Sire: Achilles vom Texas A1 0975/19 – AZP2, VGP P2 - 287 pts, HDA2, OCD-Frei, HN, Fw: V Emma is a stunning female, and a bird finding machine. She is thick and muscular, moderate height, and has a very sweet personality. From a young age, she has hunted multiple species of upland game across several states, and she often finds birds that other dogs have missed. In the home, she is the type to curl up on the couch next to you. Some of her littermates were actively hunting ducks all season long at six months of age, with a natural retrieve and no training. Her drive and desire to work is unparalleled, yet she is one of the most cooperative and biddable dogs I've ever owned. In the water she is determined and will absolutely find her ducks. Emma is a real pleasure to hunt over, and a joy to own. She carries the liver and white gene, so could throw both black-and-white and liver and white pups in this breeding.

About Angus
Angus vom Gansehimmel 0130/23 - D1, S2, HN, HDA2, OCD-Frei, Fw: V Grand Dam: Valeska vom Gansehimmel 0096/18 - D1, VJP67, S1, HN, HDA1, Fw: V Grand Sire: Bosko vom Dakota 1115/15 / D1, VJP67, AZP1, VGP1 309 pts, BTR, HN, HDA2, Fw: V Angus is the type of dog that turns heads. At only 17 months of age he was awarded a “V” (Excellent) in conformation. His confidence and drive in the field are strong and impressive. He is also a very biddable and cooperative dog as well. He has hunted a number of different species across multiple states. Angus has a very calm demeanor and affectionate personality in the home, and when he is in the field, he does his job with stellar performance. He has a natural retrieve as well. His water search is thorough and intense. He is one of my favorite dogs to hunt over because of his biddability combined with his incredible drive. Angus is a larger framed male and within the breed standard for height. He is currently training for his VGP. He carries the liver and white gene, so could throw both black-and-white and liver and white pups.

About Dayna
Dayna vom Bosque River 0479/22 - D1, AZP1, HN, HDA2, OCD-Frei, Fw: SG Grand Dam: Blair vom Kleinen Fluss 1242/17 – D1, AZP2, HDA2, HN, Fw: SG Grand Sire: Achilles vom Texas A1 0975/19 – AZP2, VGP P2 - 287 pts, HDA2, OCD-Frei, HN, Fw: V Dayna is out of one of my best litters to date. She is like her sire - exceptional in the water. She will cover a large body of water in search of a duck, and uses her nose to her advantage. But she also covers ground in the field like nobody’s business and therefore finds a lot of birds - and yet stays within perfect range to hunt over. She is a cooperative dog with a natural retrieve, and like her parents, naturally adjusts her distance based on the terrain and cover. She has hunted a wide variety of different species across multiple states, has a striking appearance, and like all of the pups in her bloodline, is an affectionate cuddler and very calm in the home. She is very thick and muscular, and a medium height. Her pups from her first litter absolutely love the water and have very strong pointing instincts and natural retrieves. ***NOTE: REGISTERED IN DKV IN GERMANY. NOT AKC. THESE ARE ORIGINAL GERMAN SHORTHAIRS “DEUTSCH KURZHAAR” BREED - PERFORMANCE PROVEN AT EVERY GENERATION. PUPS WILL COME WITH DKV REGISTRATIONS***
