Meet the breeder

I'm David G., the breeder behind von den Großen Seen kennel located in Farmington Hills, MI. We raise our litters in our home to help set the foundation for happy and confident puppies to transition well into their forever homes. It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to make an impact on each individual puppy!

Q. & A. with David

  • Why did you start breeding?

Based upon the temperament and the demonstrated ability of Clover, and with great support of the KlM-GNA, we determined she has the attributes to support our strong breeding program within the club.
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs are bred to the Verband für Kleine Münsterländer e.V (KlM-Germany) standards, which has been termed “performance breeding.” Performance breeding requires stud dogs and breeding bitches to conform to breed standards at a Breed Show, meet club health standards and demonstrate natural and performance abilities by passing tests of the JGHV (German Versatile Hunting Dog Association).
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
