I'm Julia H., the breeder behind Von Heidbrink Shorthairs located in Albany, GA. I produce pups that have the ability to excel in their chosen field. The health and quality of my puppies is very important to me, and I make all of my breeding decisions accordingly. I prioritize health, temperament, structure, and conformation to the standard as well as a variety of other factors.
Q. & A. with Julia
Why did you start breeding?
Because of my dedication to both the physical and mental health of these incredible dogs, I breed to pass these traits down to future generations. I hope to help families find their puppies from responsible and ethical sources to help build a better and safer world for our dogs.
What makes your program special?
I am an experienced breeder, and I take my role seriously. I keep a variety of factors in mind when choosing dogs to breed, including health, temperament, pedigree, and other complementary traits, so that puppies can inherit the best of both parents. Check out the picture gallery for some of my certifications.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include white and liver, liver roan, liver and white, and liver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
