I'm the breeder behind Wells' Providence Pyrenees located in Silex, MO. We are a family-oriented breeder focused on health, quality and size and our Pyrs are huge, we don't do small Pyrs! We are very selective in choosing our breeding sires and dams because we want to ensure we remain true to this majestic breed and, as such, we will only breed the best of the best (no sagging eyes or drooling, droopy jowls). Our Gentle Giants are not only beautiful but they are also exemplary guardians, providing our livestock and our family with unwavering protection and love. They are steadfast in their guardian traits and we have not lost any livestock to predators since obtaining the Pyrs! Providence Pyrs descend from an extensive line of French, Belgium, Spanish, Finnish and American AKC Champions. We only select magnificent breeding pairs that conform to the breed standard. Both Dam and Sire have big bear heads, gorgeous manes with dripping coats, and excellent conformation, that gives our Pyrs the true majestic look of the Great Pyrenees! Our breeding pairs have outstanding temperaments and our pups make excellent livestock guardians, family guardians, service dogs or therapy dogs!
We offer a lot of valuable information to assist you in finding the Pyrfect Pyr and the right Breeder! We offer micro-chipping and lifetime enrollment in AKC Reunite. Puppies are born in our home, are handled daily and receive Early Neurological and Bio-Sensory Stimulation for a well-developed nervous system, immune system with improved health and intelligence. Puppies are potty trained using the “Misty Method” of potty training beginning at 3 1/2 weeks. The puppies are exposed to all the sights, sounds and smells of a farm so they grow up to have a very confident nature. Puppies will be micro-chipped, current on vaccines and worming and will be fully Vet checked before going to their new FOREVER home. We offer door-to-door delivery to ensure a smooth transition for your new family member. We provide a FIVE YEAR health guarantee and a LIFETIME of support!

Q. & A. with Tina
Why did you start breeding?
Our first Pyr, Geeta, was a pet. She imprinted on our children and was their loyal companion & protector. Geeta passed in 2002 and soon I began my search for another Pyr. I became frustrated trying to locate a Breeder that performed all the Health Testing and had quality Pyrs with the right Temperament to be a pet or an LGD. We establish a breeding program and have lived in Pyradise ever since!
What makes your program special?
We are very selective in choosing our breeding sires and dams because we want to ensure we remain true to this majestic breed and, as such, we will only breed the best of the best. Providence Pyrs are selected for excellent conformation, temperament, and superior genetics & livestock guardian capabilities to ensure that we are only breeding the best Great Pyrenees this majestic breed has to offer!
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
