I'm Sarah I., the breeder behind Whispering Heights Ranch located in Ruthven, IA. We offer traditional style Great Pyrenees…we breed for health, temperament and longevity. My GP dogs come from blocky head and big boned parents. I breed to preserve what the GP should be... All dogs live inside & outside the home, hand raised and socialized before leaving…also nothing leaves here before 8 weeks.

Why did you start breeding?
I love the breed and I get upset when I see poor quality dogs that look like skinny white labradors. I breed only once a year and I breed for temperament and quality.What makes your program special?
I actually care about the dogs and they are not just property to me. My females will start breeding at the age of 2 and stop at age 5…therefore only being bred 3 times in their life at most. I breed once a year, not every heat. I don’t breed to make money… I breed to better the breeds and offer families a good quality family member.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include white and badger and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and $500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
