I'm Jo Ann C., the breeder behind WiccaBay located in Severn, MD. We hold ourselves to the highest standard when it comes to our dogs and our policies. We take responsible breeding very seriously. Our program was built with care and intention in every step. We are passionate about the health and wellbeing of this breed, and we want our program to be an example of how to responsibly breed high-quality, healthy dogs.

Why did you start breeding?
I began a career in dogs as a child and as I reached adulthood, became a well respected licensed professional dog show handler and Trainor. I have been a paid puppy evaluator for most PWD litters in the area.What makes your program special?
My breeding program encompasses years of experience and study of pedigrees to produce puppies true to their breed standards. Our home raised puppies excellent in temperament and health. I’m a long time AKC Breeder of Merit and have produced therapy dogs, champions in both conformation and performance but more importantly treasured family pets.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

"The price includes a written contract, full vet exam, microchip, vaccinations, deworming by AKC Breeder of Merit with 50 years of experience in breeding dogs. 30 years of which has been dedicated to Portuguese Water Dogs. Deposits are not refundable unless the application is not accepted at which point entire deposit is refundable. Deposits are also refunded if no puppy available."

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
