Meet the breeder

I'm Christine L., the breeder behind Wild Bunch Ranch - Home of Le Patou Great Pyrenees located in Arroyo Grande, CA. I have well-rounded Great Pyrenees that can be family pets, livestock guardian dogs, and show dogs. My dogs are bred with a focus on temperament, health and structure. The puppies are raised with sheep, chickens, geese, cats and adult Great Pyrenees, Border Collies and an Australian Shepherd. I expose them from a very young age and work with the pups so they are conditioned to be with livestock.

Q. & A. with Christine

  • Why did you start breeding?

I wanted to raise a livestock guardian that was proven to have good conformation and health tests. I have had a great time raising the puppies and meeting their future owners!
  • What makes your program special?

I socialize my puppies with livestock, ranch sights and sounds, other dogs, cats, sheep, fowl and people of all ages. Each puppy comes pre-loved to be a good citizen.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
