Planned German Shorthaired Pointer litter
Due Nov. 2026
I'm Erin B., the breeder behind Wild Rose German Shorthaired Pointers located in Walford, IA. I offer quality German Shorthaired Pointer puppies from champion parents. In my program, I value health, temperament, and breed standards. I believe in intentional breeding in order to preserve the GSP and produce quality puppies that are both conformationally correct and can perform in the field. I take great care with each litter and strive to produce the next German Shorthaired Pointer champion!

About Whopper
Whopper is a dream of dog for a breeder/owner/handler. His biddability and desire to please in the field and in the home is second to none. In the conformation ring Whopper strides out and performs well both in the breed ring and with his junior handler. In the field he is a naturally close working hunter with a strong nose and cunning bird work. Everyone that has had the experience to hunt over him has always commented the same thing – what a pleasant dog he is to hunt with. Whopper has a happy and playful demeanor and when not competing or hunting is content to lounge around the house or play with his canine companions. We are currently pursuing his GCH and will be training and testing for SH in the future.
