I'm Rodrigo M., the breeder behind Wild West English Pointers located in Acton, MA. We’re proud of the healthy, affectionate, and behaviorally well-rounded puppies we raise for other families to love! We are professional, responsible, and ethical dog breeders who love our dogs as part of our family. Our goals are always evolving and we’re eager to see what each new litter brings!

What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include orange and white and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Rodrigo
Rodrigo has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Rodrigo partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“We currently have a litter of 9 puppies ready to go to there new homes in mid November. They are from Australian & American CH Zensu Masquerade "Helga" and AKC Ptd Solivia Marimilla Hooray Hooray SH "Issac" (just needs his majors to finish) we have 6 girls and 3 boys, black and white and orange and white available. We are currently screening homes, we are giving priority to show & hunting homes where pups will be shown and hopefully field titled as well as Conformation but each puppy will be required to be raised as cherished family members. Puppies will leave with two sets of vaccines, Microchipped, dewormed, vet checked and fully guaranteed via written contract. Please inquire and fill out our puppy screening questionnaire!!”

Parent health testing
Great level
Wild West English Pointers reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Pointers.
Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
