Meet the breeder

I'm Mary C., the breeder behind Wind n Satin Sighthounds located in Brown County, OH. My dogs are bred to produce healthy, sound, and versatile pups. I have high expectations for my puppies and make sure to place each one with an enriching and loving family complementary to their personality and ability!

Q. & A. with Mary

  • Why did you start breeding?

It is important to me that I not only preserve my own phenomenal bloodlines but that I am improving this breed with each litter and ensuring the well-being of these dogs for generations more to come! It is my passion to breed these incredible dogs and help ensure the future of the Silken Windhound. It has been an absolute joy of a journey, and I am so happy to be able to share these wonderful dogs with other loving families and individuals.
  • What makes your program special?

I am one of the founding breeders of Silken Windhounds. The puppies I produce are high-quality in every way. I do not produce a litter unless each of my parent dogs is fully healthy and an excellent representation of the standard. I am dedicated to always having responsible policies when it comes to breeding, training, and rehoming my pups. I love what I do and truly want nothing more than to see each and every one of my puppies shine!
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
