I'm Danelle G., the breeder behind Windward German Shorthaired Pointers located in Groveland, MA. Hi there, my name is Danelle, and I bought my first German Shorthaired Pointer in 1987. He went on to become my first champion, and was the beginning of a lifelong love for this unique and fascinating breed. We don’t breed often – so each litter is special, hand raised in our home, with love and attention and plenty of socialization. We focus on conformation, temperament, and health. We have many repeat buyers, and are there for the life of your puppy.

Why did you start breeding?
What makes your program special?
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Where do your breeding dogs live?

Danelle has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Danelle partners with them to find the best puppy match.
"We are very particular about who gets one of our puppies. We have a screening process that is quite rigorous, but we intend to ensure a lifelong home for our puppies and the only way to do that is to match them as carefully as we can to prospective owners. Once approved, we take into account a potential owner’s wants and needs, and try to match that to the individual temperament of the puppy."

"Price includes AKC registration, first vaccinations, veterinary health check at 7 weeks, microchip, tails and dewclaws done, and lifelong breeder support. Deposits hold a puppy for you once we approve your application. Refundable if there isn’t a puppy of your preferred gender, or the litter does not yield enough puppies to satisfy all accepted deposits."
Danelle may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Danelle offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Danelle directly.
