Silken Windhounds have proven to be wonderful companions in my life, and it is a privilege to share that love with others. I am devoted to ensuring there are happy and healthy Silken Windhounds for others to enjoy, and I do so by responsibly growing this incredible breed. I really value the connections I form with my buyers and love to continue to watch my puppies grow up through their eyes.
What makes your program special?
I focus on breeding dogs that have enough working drive to keep up with my lifestyle, but also have amazing temperaments and can quickly adapt to a calm family setting. I genuinely cherish Silken Windhounds and I am committed to looking out for the breed as a whole. I know the health and status of every dog I have bred and am proud of the temperament and beauty of my quality puppies.

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
