



I'm Rebecca H., the breeder behind Wintegrity Russell Terriers & Irish Red and White Setters located in Vacaville, CA. Our dogs are bred with a focus on genetics, physical health, and temperament. We use health testing and Puppy Culture to raise our puppies following the AVSAB position on science-based practices for puppy raising and training. We show our dogs in conformation and sport and raise them in our farm home.

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
