I'm Rebecca H., the breeder behind Wintegrity Russell Terriers & Irish Red and White Setters located in Vacaville, CA. Our dogs are bred with a focus on genetics, physical health, and temperament. We use health testing and Puppy Culture to raise our puppies following the AVSAB position on science-based practices for puppy raising and training. We show our dogs in conformation and sport and raise them in our farm home.

Why did you start breeding?
Breeding is a natural extension of my childhood working with animals. I bred my first litter at 18. I do not breed often. However, with children of my own, I see the need for dogs with good temperaments and the need for quality health and raising practices. My career choice has also driven the desire to provide quality dogs for families. The joy of owning a dog requires dogs who are a joy to own.What makes your program special?
We spend a great deal of time socializing our puppies. When you join our FB group you can see the puppies from day one. There are pics and videos. Do not take our word for it. Watch the environmental stimuli that they enjoy each day, the trips to new places, the unique surfaces they walk on. Enjoy the litter box training and crate training we send them home with. The proof is in the pictures.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
