I'm Jason W., the breeder behind Witcher Boerboels - aka Jersey Boerboels located in Upper Pittsgrove, NJ. Our dogs are our passion, and we can't imagine spending our lives without them. We are dedicated to achieving excellence and healthy family pets, and we love to raise puppies and prepare them for their forever homes.

Getting a puppy from Jason

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Jason partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $3,000 - $5,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • DNA Disease Panel, Hyperuricosuria (HUU)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Jason Witcher has been ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and counseled me (74yr old) into the very best Boerboel puppy for my wife and I. Our puppy, Zula, is absolutely the most adorable, sweetest little puppy we’ve ever had. Zula was very also very socialized with people and other dogs by Jason and his family before we got her. She became our family’s new baby_girl from day one. I also fully respected Jason’s honesty with me in helping me select a perfect Boerboel for my wife and I. He refused to sell me his bigger, black puppies because he recognized they would be too much dog for me at 74, and for my wife, who was also a bit fearful of large working class canines. Our large, 140 lb Rotti passed away, and she was a bit fearful of him throughout his 11 1/2 years. Jason guided us PERFECTLY, and allowed us to purchase Zula, the best little blonde female Boerboel puppy ever! We could tell immediately the Witcher family spends countless hours with their pups because Zula came into our home from day one full of love, affection, confidence, and sweetness. She is totally confident, plays well with my wife’s new hyperactive Golden Doodle, Georgie, and keeps him occupied in her playful yet confident manner. I can’t thank the Witcher family enough for our beautiful, sweet, confident, and brilliant little girl. I 1,0000% recommend Jason Witcher Boerboels for anyone thinking of owning these AMAZING Boerboel canines.     In my search for a solid and trustworthy breeder, I felt 'good & comfortable' with Jason Witcher's 'open honesty and knowledge' of the Boerboel breed, and each of his individual puppies that were available for purchase, as well as the 'helpful background information' on the puppies' parents.
