The pups received their first round of vaccinations this weekend. They are going for their veterinary exam soon and being dewormed again as a precaution. All are rocking learning to housebreak. Each of them enjoys cuddles and meeting new people.

I was looking to add a new family member to my home. Having owned APBTs and Staffordshire Terriers before, I knew I wanted to stick with the terrier breeds because I love their high energy. However, this was my first time getting a Jack Russell Terrier, so I had a lot to learn. After speaking with Susan and doing a video call, it was clear she was dedicated to making sure I would be a great fit for my pup, and that he would be the right fit for me. I can’t overstate this: Susan was nothing short of amazing. She provided me with detailed information about everything from his diet and care to tips on giving him the best life possible. When he arrived in Chicago, Susan helped arrange for a dog nanny to safely escort him from Virginia. I’m grateful she found someone I could trust with such an important responsibility. Now, after almost a month with him, I couldn’t be more pleased. His coat, diet, health, and temperament are all fantastic. He even potty-trained within two days, as if he already knew what to do! Susan continues to be a great resource. I still text her when I have questions, and she’s always there to help. I’m writing this review purely based on my positive experience—there’s no incentive involved. I’m thrilled with my decision to get my pup from Susan and Woodside Kennels. Susan is an amazing breeder who clearly puts her animals first. It’s exactly what I’d hope for from any breeder that truly cares about the homes, these new family members are going to.
