Yare Lagotto Romagnolo

Meet the breeder

I'm Julie B., the breeder behind Yare Lagotto Romagnolo located in Highland Village, TX. We help preserve pure-bred dogs through informed-breeding, health testing, and research. When you purchase a pup from us, you get to experience the joy of knowing your dog has a distinct history and legacy.

Q. & A. with Julie

  • Why did you start breeding?

In 2003 we adopted a cute dog named Coco from the Flower Mound, TX Humane Society. Coco turned out to be a Portuguese Water Dog of unknown heritage. Shortly thereafter, along came our first show dog which led us to breed.
  • What makes your program special?

As full voting-members in the Portuguese Water Dog Club of America, we adhere to all genetic and health testing recommended by the national club.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
