Are you a responsible breeder? We'd love to recognize you. Connect directly with informed buyers, get access to free benefits, and more.
We know you put your all into your breeding program, and we want to make sure your puppy buyers know it too!
We are so grateful for your feedback and suggestions, and this feature is all about recognizing your unique program and making your profile your own. As part of our commitment to transparency, you can now receive Breeding Dog Badges, a brand new way for you to differentiate your program and the health testing performed on your breeding dogs! By helping breeders share their dogs’ health test files and links directly on their profile, we’re finding new ways to educate the public, improve canine health and well-being, and provide transparency to puppy buyers, together!

In the past, when you added health testing for your Sires & Dams, only the list of tests performed were displayed on your profile. You could not include links to the results of those tests that visitors to your profile could click on for more information. You can now share links to health test results and clickable files that can be displayed directly on your profile. After providing this verifiable health testing information for your sires and dams, and making sure your Toggle is set to ‘Live,’ you’ll receive your Breeding Dog Badges in up to 3 days!
A Friendly Reminder: We award health testing recognition on both the program and individual breeding dog level (i.e., a program’s sires and dams). There will be no changes made to your program’s health testing badge, and those badges will remain the same as when you received them!

Sharing health test files and links for your individual dogs to get your Breeding Dog Badges empowers you to customize your profile, highlight what makes your program special and showcase all you put into your dogs. At Good Dog, we believe that healthy breeding programs start with healthy breeding dogs, and we can’t wait to use these new badges to recognize yours!
By using Breeding Dog Badges to share this information on your profile, you’re educating the public, including potential puppy buyers, about breed-specific health testing and responsible breeding practices.
To see what will be publicly displayed when the Health Toggle is “Live," log in to your Good Dog Dashboard and click Sires & Dams. In addition to the test name, any files and links you have added will also be visible on your profile, as well as any applicable Breeding Dog Badges for your sires and dams.

To add health test files and links for your breeding dogs and receive your badges, just follow the steps below. The files and links you have added will be visible on your profile.
You can always update, add or remove the health testing files and links for each of your breeding dogs individually as results become available. It’s important to note that if you choose to turn your Health Toggle ‘Off,’ you will not be able to display your Breeding Dog badges or health testing files on your profile.
Curious about how your profile will look without badges displayed?

We’re so excited to give you the opportunity to customize your profile and highlight all the effort you put into your program. If you have any questions about Breeding Dog Badges, don't hesitate to reach out to your Good Dog Specialist team at breederteam@gooddog.com!
