What is Good Dog’s policy on having more than one Good Dog Profile Page?

Good Dog currently supports one Good Dog Profile Page for each Good Dog Breeder in order to avoid confusion among potential puppy buyers and help facilitate a successful match.

Part of our mission here at Good Dog is providing transparency to help inform and educate potential puppy buyers and to better help prospective puppy owners connect with responsible dog breeders. As part of that effort, if you work with multiple breeds or have multiple breeding programs, we combine your information into one Good Dog Profile.

What if my program features more than one breed?

Your Good Dog Profile is capable of supporting multiple breeds!

You can customize the photos that will appear when a potential puppy buyer searches Good Dog for each of your breeds. For example, if you breed both Poodles and French Bulldogs, you can customize your Profile so that when a potential puppy buyer searches Good Dog for “Poodles,” pictures of your Poodles are displayed on your Profile cover photo. Alternatively, if a potential buyer searches Good Dog for “French Bulldogs,” pictures of your French Bulldogs will be displayed as your cover photo instead.

Additionally, you are able to see potential puppy buyer’s preferences when they reach out to you, including breed, sex, and color, which can help you easily organize your waitlist. This gives you the flexibility to manage each breed separately, all with the ease of having one central Good Dog Profile Page.

If you’re looking to add a new breed to your profile, please reach out to our Screening Team at screening@gooddog.com to get started!

What if I have multiple breeding programs that operate as separate business entities?

If your breeding programs operate as separate business entities, meaning they are legally and financially separate from one another, we encourage you to reach out directly to your Good Dog Specialist, to help make sure you are set up for success.

We understand that separate entities may require payments to be made to separate bank accounts for tax purposes, among other things, and our Good Dog team will work with you to determine how to best accommodate your unique situation. Your Good Dog Specialist may ask you to provide information evidencing that your programs are separate business entities, including, but not limited to, their Federal Tax Identification Numbers, and/or business licensing.

If you have any questions, we are always here to help! Please feel free to reach out to your Good Dog Specialist or our Breeder Support team anytime at breederteam@gooddog.com.
