We know how much work and care you put into breeding healthy puppies, and we want to make sure Good Dog buyers know it too!
As part of Good Dog’s mission to educate the public and promote canine health, you can now receive special designation for your puppies, which highlights that their parents have verified health testing. This designation will appear in your individual puppy listings to help buyers learn more about your program’s commitment to health testing! Good Dog buyers are also able to view puppies with this special designation by filtering their puppy search results by parent-dog health testing level.
In the past, you could only display health testing badges for your breeding dogs, but we heard your feedback that you’re looking for more ways to differentiate your program and educate potential puppy buyers.

Parent health testing badges are automatically awarded to individual puppies whose parents have both provided health testing documentation and earned their health testing badges.
Follow these steps to earn health testing badges for a sire or dam:
After providing all health test files and links, you'll receive your badges in up to 3 days!
It’s important to note that puppies will be awarded a health testing badge that matches the lowest level of the two parent dog levels. For example, a puppy with a Great sire and an Excellent dam would receive a Great health testing badge.
To see what will be publicly displayed, log in to your Good Dog Dashboard and click Sires & Dams. In addition to the test name, any files and links you have added will also be visible on your profile, as well as any applicable health testing badges for your sires, dams, and puppies.

We’re so excited to offer this feature to recognize you for all the effort you put into your program, and continue working together to find new ways to educate the public, improve canine health and well-being, and provide transparency to Good Dog buyers.
