Edit, Add, or Remove Sires & Dams and their Information

Managing your program’s parent dogs is a great way to provide important information to your buyers, and easy to navigate!

To add a new sire/dam, follow the steps below:


  1. From your Good Dog Dashboard, click on Sires & Dams
    ​​​​    (Good Dog App users will tap Program at the bottom of the screen)
  2. Click Add, then follow the prompts to fill out information and add photos to the dog's profile.

NOTE: Not all fields available are required to add a sire/dam, and sire/dam information can be updated at any time.

To edit an existing sire/dam's information, follow the steps below:


  1. From your Good Dog Dashboard, click on Sires & Dams (Good Dog App users will tap Program at the bottom of the screen)
    ​​​​
  2. Select the dog you would like to edit.
    ​​​​
  3. Toggle between the tabs at the top of your sire/dam's profile to edit information (listed below):
      ​​​​🐾 Details
    🐾 Photos
    🐾 Health
    🐾 Pedigree​​​​
    ​​​​
To delete a sire/dam, follow the steps below:


  1. From your Good Dog Dashboard, click on Sires & Dams (Good Dog App users will tap Program at the bottom of the screen)
    ​​​​
  2. Select the sire/dam you would like to update
    ​​​​
  3. Click Actions in the top-right corner
    ​​​​
  4. Click Delete from the drop-down menu

To hide a retired dog, follow the steps below:

  1. From your Good Dog Dashboard, click on Sires & Dams (Good Dog App users will tap Program at the bottom of the screen)
    ​
  2. Select the sire/dam you would like to update
    ​
  3. ​Set/Confirm the dog's breeding status is listed as Retired in the Details tab
    ​
  4. At the top of the Details tab, set the visibility toggle to "Hidden on Profile"

    ​NOTE: Retired dogs will still appear in past listings but won't appear in the "Moms and Dads" section of your profile.
