When you make a payment with Protection & Support, you receive:
Payment Protection. Under
Good Dog's Payment Protection policy, we protect the deposit and/or final dog payments made through Good Dog, up to the purchase price of your dog. This means that we'll help you resolve any issue that comes up, whether it's with a payment or something else, pursuant to our
Terms of Service.
Support. Finding and raising a dog can be challenging, but we've got your back every step of the way. Our world-class support team, which includes veterinarians and behaviorists, can offer help whenever you need it.
Puppy training & product discounts. Get
online courses, guides and live coaching from world-class dog experts. Plus, save with
exclusive discounts on puppy essentials from Chewy, Rover, BarkBox and more. We note that access is not included for deposit payments made with Protection & Support.
How much does Protection & Support cost?
Protection & Support is a flat fee and doesn't impact the amount your breeder gets paid.

Protection & Support Fee: $25

Protection & Support Fee: $45

Protection & Support Fee: $75
Payment amount: $1,500-$1,999
Protection & Support Fee: $95
Payment amount: $2,000-$2,499
Protection & Support Fee: $125
Payment amount: $2,500-$2,999
Protection & Support Fee: $145

Protection & Support Fee: 5%
If you pay with a credit or debit card, you'll be charged an additional processing fee of 3.3%. This fee is paid directly to our payment processor and is not paid to Good Dog.
If you pay via bank transfer, there are no processing fees.
