Pay with Klarna
Using Klarna to pay on Good Dog
Klarna is a buy now, pay later option on Good Dog’s secure payment platform. With Klarna, you can complete your final puppy payment in four interest-free installments or through monthly financing, depending on your total payment amount.
How does Klarna work?
Klarna offers flexible payment plans so you can complete your total puppy payment over time. However, deposits must be paid in full and are not eligible for Klarna. When it's time to complete your final payment, select Klarna at checkout to view your eligibility and payment plan details.
If your total amount is:
- Under $2,000: You can pay in four interest-free installments or choose a monthly financing plan.
- Above $2,000: You’ll have the option for a monthly financing plan with Klarna.
The first payment is processed on the day of your purchase, and the rest will be spread out over your payment period. Klarna handles these remaining payments directly with you, while your breeder gets paid in full upfront.
Can I pay my deposit with Klarna?
Deposits are not eligible for Klarna payments. Most breeders will ask for a deposit to reserve your spot in a litter or reserve a specific puppy, and deposits must be completed in full when you and your breeder decide it's time to move forward.
How do I know if I’m eligible?
Klarna determines your eligibility through an instant soft credit check. Soft credit checks don’t impact your overall credit score and are not visible to other lenders. You may also want to check with your bank to confirm they accept Klarna as a payment method. It's important to note that you'll need full approval from Klarna before bringing your pup home.
Are there fees?
Good Dog’s standard processing fee applies when you pay with Klarna. There are no additional fees when you pay in four installments. If you choose monthly financing, interest will apply based on your creditworthiness and the terms of your payment plan.
What payment methods are accepted by Klarna?
Klarna accepts ACH transfers as well as all major credit and debit cards.
What if I cannot make a payment?
If you can't make a payment, contact Klarna’s customer support through their app or website to review your options.
Do all Good Dog Certified breeders accept Klarna?
Each Good Dog Certified breeder chooses whether to accept Klarna as a payment option. While Klarna is available with many breeders, you'll only see it at checkout if that particular breeder has opted to offer flexible payment plans.
Good Dog allows breeders to set their policies, including payment methods that work best for their programs.
