Payment In Review
What does it mean if my payment is “In Review”?
Although it’s generally quite rare, occasionally a payment is flagged by our payment processor, Stripe, as being higher-than-normal risk.
When this occurs you will see the payment noted as In Review on your Payments Dashboard (shown below).
During this time, our Security Team will conduct a review of the payment to ensure there is no risk to the breeder.
In most instances, these payments will be released and sent to your payout method like normal after our Security Team once they’ve completed their review. If they have any further questions they will be in touch with you.
Will the funds be transferred to my account?
While in review, the funds will not be transferred to your chosen payout method. This is done as a precautionary measure to provide our Security Team necessary time to complete the review.
What should I do if my payment is In Review?
While our Security Team works as swiftly as possible to review, we would advise that you wait until the payment is cleared by our team (noted as Paid Out on your Payment Dashboard) before moving forward with sending your pup to their new home, since we cannot guarantee the payment until that time.
How long does the review process take?
Typically our Security Team is able to review these payments quickly, however in some instances it may take longer. Our Security Team will reach out to you if they have any questions or need additional information to complete their review process.
If you have information you feel would be helpful in the review process, we would ask that you share that with the Good Dog Breeder Team.
