Pickup Plans on Good Dog

Pickup plans on Good Dog give you and your buyer a shared space to plan every important detail of your puppy’s go-home day, all in one place. From transportation and timing to flight info and helpful notes, you can build the plan together and stay on the same page from your first conversation through pickup day.

How to create a pickup plan
Pickup plans can be created and accessed by both you and your buyers from the To-do list on your desktop or in the Good Dog mobile app. On the mobile app, you can also create one directly from the Details tab.

You and your buyer can build your pickup plan together, so it's a good idea to talk through the details with each other as you fill them in.
When you create a new pickup plan, you'll be asked to fill in the details that are essential to a smooth go-home experience:
  • How the puppy will get home (in-person pickup, driving to meet the buyer halfway, working with a flight nanny, pet-safe air cargo, or ground drop-off with a trusted carrier)
  • Location of the handoff, such as an address, airport, or meeting spot
  • Pickup date and time
  • Any associated transportation fees
  • Flight details, so arrival and timing can be tracked
  • Any other notes that might be helpful for a smooth handoff
Once these details are filled in, you and your buyer will be able to add the pickup day details directly to your calendar for easy tracking.

Viewing and editing a pickup plan
Once a pickup plan has been created, you and your buyer can view it anytime from your To-do list. Either of you can edit the pickup plan whenever plans change, so the most up-to-date details are always in one place.

Your weekly pickup plan summary
Each week, you'll receive an email that lets you know of any upcoming pickups you have scheduled and recaps any recent changes made to pickup plans, so you always have a clear record.
