Remove a Message

If you no longer need the message thread between you and an applicant, you can “delete” the message by archiving it. Archiving a conversation will remove the message from your active Inbox.

NOTE: Archived message threads are still available to view, but you will NOT receive notifications of any new messages from users that have been archived.

To archive a message, follow the steps below:

  1. From your Good Dog Dashboard, click on Inbox

  2. Click on the conversation that you would like to remove

  3. Click on the buyer's name at the top of the chat

  4. From the buyer's profile, click Archive chat

You can view your archived messages by clicking on Inbox header and clicking Archived.

To permanently delete an archived conversation, follow the steps below:
  1. From your Good Dog Dashboard, click on Inbox

  2. Click on the archived conversation that you would like to permanently delete

  3. Click on the buyer's name at the top of the chat

  4. From the buyer's profile, click Delete chat

Deleted chats are permanently removed from your Inbox. However, buyers will still have the ability to message you after your conversation with them has been permanently deleted.
