Good Dog's Puppy Training Program Is Live!

Raising a puppy is an exciting journey. But, like any good adventure, it can have highs and lows, challenges and delights. For this reason, it can be helpful to have resources and guides along the way. Good Dog's brand new Puppy Training Program was developed specifically to provide those resources as you raise your puppy to be a great dog!

Experienced dog trainers, breeders, and researchers know that what happens in our puppies’ first year or even 18 months sets the stage for the rest of their lives. This early period helps form our pups’ lifetime personality, health, and more. 

As a breeder, it is very important to me that my puppy buyers have access to resources and courses that I trust, that fit with my breeding philosophy, and that are respectful of breeders and the work they do. It’s also nice to have help fielding questions and responding to the issues owners face. I’ve been breeding for a very long time, and even I don’t have all the answers, so I know the importance of getting a little help from trusted experts firsthand.

This is why we created this unique puppy-raising program — to support both buyers and breeders. The Puppy Training Program enables owners to learn from proven methods used by dog breeders and owners around the world to develop confident, healthy, happy dogs. 

Here are a few more things that set apart Good Dog's Puppy Training Program:

• Our coaches are truly DOG EXPERTS! Together, they have over 60 years of experience training and raising puppies of all breeds and types. They are American Kennel Club (AKC) Breeders of Merit and have trained search and rescue, therapy, and service dogs. Additionally, our coaches have trained thousands of puppy owners to bring up lovely pups to be everything they want in a dog. As a Puppy Training Program member, you get direct access to this coaching team, online and on live calls
  
• Puppy Training Program grows with your pup. Depending upon their breed, your pup may not be an adult for a year or two. Knowing what to do throughout each phase of puppyhood, from those early weeks through the teenage months, will give you more confidence and skill to train them properly. And having a team of coaches to turn to for answers about both young and older pups is a lifesaver
  
• You also get a supportive community of other puppy owners, trainers, vets, behaviorists, and breeders to turn to for your pup’s unique challenges and any other questions you may have. Where can you find the best gear? How can you make delicious treats? How do you stop your pup from barking? Should you spay or neuter your pup and, if so, when?
