Limited Registration Purchase Agreements are used when a puppy/dog is being sold with limited or non-breeding registration. This type of registration is offered by the AKC, ABCA, and a few other registries. This means that the puppy/dog is not eligible for exhibiting in Conformation events (but may compete in other performance events, such as Agility, Obedience, and Rally). It is used in situations where the intention is for the puppy/dog not to be bred at any time. If pups are produced, such offspring will not be eligible for registration.
