Sample Contract: Non-Refundable Puppy Deposit

The Non-Refundable Puppy Deposit Agreement is used to reflect that both buyer and seller acknowledge that a deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances, even if the buyer decides they no longer want to purchase a puppy from this breeder. As part of this agreement the breeder also agrees to hold the puppy for the buyer once they receive the deposit. In many instances, the deposit may be put down far in advance, including before the puppy has any breeders, and the agreement may refer to a specific litter or puppy, or be much more general.
