I'm Bridget S., the breeder behind 11 Oaks Kennels located in Spanaway, WA. Here at 11 Oaks, we stride to produce healthy and strong dogs. We raise all of our pups as if they are family members because for those shorts 8 weeks, they are! When we send you home with a pup, we know that we gave that dog the best shot possible at being successful in their new home life.

  • What makes your program special?

    I run a small, in-home breeding program where I prioritize giving each dog and puppy the best care that I can. I cherish all of my animals and enjoy sharing the love of these wonderful breeds with other individuals and families! I have high expectations for my puppies and make sure to place each one in an enriching and loving home that will match their temperament and personality. I love what I do and truly want the very best for my puppies and their forever families.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Dachshund puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our Dachshund puppies include longhaired and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Dachshund puppies include piebald, cream, red, chocolate, brindle, fawn (isabella) and tan, chocolate and tan, and black and tan. Golden Retriever puppies include dark golden, golden, and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Bridget

Bridget has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $1,100 - $2,100 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“ALL pups go home with their AKC papers (full or limited), first shots and deworming done, health record, microchip info, a scented blanket and a small bag of food to get you started. Deposit is non-refundable, it secures your pup until he/she is ready to go home.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    My wife and I were thrilled with our experience adopting a golden retriever from Bridget at 11 Oaks Kennels. When we arrived, she and her siblings were inside the house, being cared for. She sent us home with all the materials we needed to get started with a new puppy and was patient and answered all of our questions leading up to pickup. I think she was even partially potty trained, as she got it immediately. We're only 4 months into raising our little Marley but she is growing into the sweetest and most loving dog. Our older dog Bailey, adores her, and they play together every day, walk with us together every morning, noon, and evening, and she's the star of her puppy class, being used to train the shy puppies because of her stellar temperament. I would highly recommend adopting from here and would myself if we're ever fortunate to add another golden to our home.
