I'm Jerilynn Adin S., the breeder behind 24K Silken Windhounds located in Saint James City, FL. I take the well being of every 24K dog as my priority. I have I fallen in love and have deep respect for the breed from when I started with my first SWH back in 2002. I bring that love of the breed into every aspect of my 24K breeding program. This program is dedicated to breeding dogs that are exemplary examples of the breed and who will make a positive contribution to the breed as a whole, and especially to the families who love them. I care very deeply about my dogs and all my puppies, which is why I want only the best for them and for my new puppy buyers. I try to match my pups to their humans so the relationship is forever, as we will always be an extended family. 24K strives to breed well rounded dogs that can do it all. Silken Windhounds are easily trained, easy to live with, they just want to please those that they love. These dogs are well suited for any environment as they can adapt to any situation presented to them and trained to do any task. As sighthounds they need to have exercise on a daily bases, this can be long walks in the park, hiking with the family or having lots of land to romp on. It is very important that Silken Windhounds are able to share a lot of family time with their people as Silken Windhounds are social animals.

Why did you start breeding?
I had been involved within another kennel, in their show, performance and breeding program as a Co-Owner/Co-Breeder for many years, until I branched out on my own in 2016 with the creation of my own 24K Silken Windhounds kennel.What makes your program special?
I am breeding to the gold standard while always keeping the highest ethical and humane rearing and treatment of all of my dogs at the forefront. I do not accept that a dog is cleared of CEA or MDR1 by parentage unless bred and tested personally by myself, I completely health test, DNA, Embark, microchip and temperament assess each puppy until they leave my kennel. All my breeding animals are health tested throughout their lifetime. I try to match each prospective buyer to a puppy that will be a "perfect" fit and no matter what the reason is if the home does not work out I will always take back any pup of mine! The happiness of my dogs and their humans is very important to me.Where do your breeding dogs live?

“Price is dependent on the evaluated quality of each pup. The total price of each pup will include age related vaccinations, microchips and a health certificate. The $500 deposit is for a hold on a pup from that specific litter of inquiry.”

Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
