I'm Deana R., the breeder behind 7Sins catahoulas located in Madisonville, TN. We focus on working, good temperament, quality catahoulas.
Q. & A. with Deana
Why did you start breeding?
I fell in head over heels in love with the breed after getting my first one and working with him in showing and work based off of what the breed does, and I've been hooked ever since. I have a mentor who's helping me with the breed, but as a technician I have had experience whelping and taking care of litters in the past.
What makes your program special?
My kennel is special because all dogs have to prove to me they can work all while having good temperaments towards, people, children, other dogs, and must be able to ignore livestock we are not working.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include yellow merle, yellow, red merle, red, brindle, blue merle, blue, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
