I raise AKC purebred Japanese Chins in our homes as family members to maximize their socialization Parents are health tested and and given excellent veterinary care. 4-9Ibs full grown, affectionate, sensitive, and celebrated for their sense of humor. Great therapy dogs, lap dogs, apartment dogs.

Why did you start breeding?
Our first baby before kids was a Japanese Chin. After having children, I realized how much our Chin helped my children as their therapy dog and even becoming a service dog to a disabled child! I decided I wanted to breed so I can assure preservation of the traits that make this dog so excellent as a therapy dog.What makes your program special?
I breed with the new owners in mind. I know I am responsible for creating the best new family member possible for someone in need of a new best friend and I want my dogs to bring joy to their new family so I prioritize breeding for health and temperament so that they will live a long healthy life and will add happiness, joy, love and empathy to their family.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable and white and black tan and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Parent health testing
Excellent level
A few of my favorite Japanese Chins reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Japanese Chins.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel, Gangliosidosis GM2, Japanese Chin Type
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
