I'm Heather R., the breeder behind A1Doodles located in Spokane, WA. We are pet owners first and foremost. All of our puppies are raised as members of our family until they’re ready to join yours. Why did you start breeding?
I have decided to do dog breeding after getting my wonderful dogs. Their personalities and temperaments have really been a great addition to our lives. I want to provide quality dogs with wonderful personalities to their forever homes.
What makes your program special?
My dogs are raised in the home with my kids and other pets. They have been genetically tested. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Early Neurological Stimulation, Crate Training, Grooming Desensitization, Clicker Training, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Socialized with Children, Sound Stimulation, Touch Desensitization, Household Desensitization, Toys, e.g. Ball, Chew, e.g. Bone, Scents, Structures, e.g. Climbing, Strangers, Noises , Various Surfaces , crate training, car riding , Outdoors, e.g. rain, Puppy Culture , Texture stimulation, Outdoors (when Weather permits), also have lots of friends and family who come over to handle the puppies and help out with the puppies daily. I do not take them to public places to expose them to people as they are not fully vaccinated until 16 weeks. , isolation conditioning.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include medium and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, apricot, black, phantom, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Puppy prices include a $100 non-refundable deposit and between $500 - $1,400 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
