I'm Albert M., the breeder behind A2 German Shepherd Dogs located in Alabama. We are committed to always responsibly breeding with the best interest of our puppies’ health and longevity at the forefront. We raise our litters in our home to help set the foundation for happy and confident puppies to transition well into their forever homes. It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to make an impact on each individual puppy!

Q. & A. with Albert

  • Why did you start breeding?

We knew when our little dog died at age 15 we would pursue finding the best GSDs we could, with excellent health and worthy of preserving as a breed. We found a breeding pair in 2020, conducted all our testing to ensure the health and genetic integrity of our dogs, saw a reproductive specialist ensure breeding was okay and then in 2022, embarked on breeding our pair for the first time.
  • What makes your program special?

We searched for over a year to find our perfect breeding pair. We have completed DNA, OFA, AKC testing on our dogs. Both have seen a reproduction specialist to ensure health before breeding. We have excellent dogs, hand raised in home, great temperament, straight strong backs, genetically larger than AKC standards. Our goal was to preserve this beautiful working line GSD.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are sable. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
