Q. & A. with JoAnn
Why did you start breeding?
We had a magnificent German shepherd Daisy many years ago. Everyone stopped us and commented on what a great, beautiful dog she was. We knew we wanted a puppy from her to be with us after she was gone. We kept a male Smokey and he followed in his mom's footsteps of being an exceptional dog.
What makes your program special?
We strive to breed healthy happy dogs. we carefully select our girls and studs to make sure they not only meet but exceed breed standards. Our Rosie has her OFA certifications for her hips, heart, elbows and eyes. She is also titled with a CGC. Her breeding partners also have all their OFA certifications. Puppies get an early start with ENS ans ESI and continue to be socialized with other family dogs and people of all ages.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are dark golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
