I'm Amy R., the breeder behind Absolute Silver located in Winona, MN. I offer top-quality Chinese Crested puppies for families who share the same love and passion that I do for these lovely companions. I want to make the transition from my loving home to yours as seamless as possible by giving personal attention to each little pup to ensure it is well-rounded and prepared to excel in its forever home. I spend many hours on the floor each day, handling and giving them the love the need.

Why did you start breeding?
I had a wonderful mentor who guided me in my journey in conformation and performance venues. She had high standards and expectations and I hope to do things as well as she has done for over 50 years.What makes your program special?
I only breed one litter a year, and when they arrive they are my sole purpose. My pups are born in my master bathroom and then move out to my main living area at 4 weeks. They have close access to outside, so one of my best successes is to give you a pup well on its way to potty training.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include powderpuff and hairless coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Primary Lens Luxation (PLL), PRA, Cone-Rod Dystrophy 3 (PRA-crd3)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Amy keeps puppies until 10 weeks old so we do not have our Molly yet. Absolutely love this breeder. She arranged for facility visit with a welcoming attitude to stop by anytime. I love her care and handling and being with the pups most of the time. Got to meet Molly's parents and all the siblings. Highly recommend Absolute Silver. Will post pictures when Molly is in our home.
