Meet the breeder

I'm Brandy P., the breeder behind Ace of Hearts K9’s located in Middlesex, NC. We are a passionate and dedicated breeding program that strive to produce the best well rounded puppies possible with a goal to better our breed. We enjoy training our dogs, competing with them in UKC/AKC conformation and spending lots of time with them doing a variety of other activities and titles!

Q. & A. with Brandy

  • Why did you start breeding?

My first two GSD were named Rebel & Ela and they were both amazing dogs. After countless hours of research about the breeding process, hands on experience, and being mentored by other great breeders, I decided to do my part in bettering the GSD breed. I had my first litter in December of 2016 which I still learn something new what seems like every day!
  • What makes your program special?

I strive to better the breed overall and I show my dogs in UKC and AKC conformation as well as SV and soon will start doing obedience and other titles with them. I also have non standard colors which one of my biggest goals is bettering them as well as showing people that they’re no different. Like Max von Stephanitz said “The coloring of the dog has no significance whatever for service”.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include long and stock coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include sable, black, black and cream, panda, black and tan, black and red, bi-color, blue, and liver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

  • Hip Dysplasia

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
